Suzuki has displayed new images of its upcoming new Swift diesel and petrol hatchback, including the 1st shots of its interior. While the outer changes are negligible the interior gets some modish cues from the superior Kizashi saloon, mainly in its central console.
There is a new LCD (liquid crystal display), new switchgear & metallic accents. All-new lighter, wider and airy Swift will go on deal in the United Kingdom this September, promising enhanced dynamics, improved performance and better CO2 (carbon dioxide) emissions & economy.
The all-new platform of Swift widen the wheelbase by 50 mm and the total length by 90 mm. Extensive use of higher power strength steel has made newly body shell lighter & stiffer than before also it offers alteration in underbody design. The facade and back tracks are 10 mm and 5 mm wider.
Suzuki claims the Swift that it is its best-selling variant, is much better dynamically as a result. Official interior images have yet to be launched, but the company has indicated that the car will be more classy and vibrant than the leaving car. The integral design continues to feature dark black as its keynote color with accents of silvery all over the car.
The increase in its wheelbase will also add more space for back passengers. In the United Kingdom, the new Swift will be unleashed with a new twin VVT 1.2-L petrol engine variant that will be changing the outgoing 1.3L unit. The double VVT unit produces 92 bhp and 12.08 km of torque, both figures somewhat improved over 1.3 unit. A manual transaction gearbox will be standard & an automatic optional. However, for the Indian marketplace, the engine which will power this vehicle is expected to be carried over - an evolution of K-series motor that powers the new Ritz and Swift.
