▶ BEN AFFLECK AS BATMAN!!! Goes Legit from "CHRONIC and BLUNTMAN"...

Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Kevin Smith could soon be reunited to rule the DC universe!!!!!

To be honest EA has a really great take on what is going on over at WB and DC. Three comic book lovers with serious street creed as Oscar winning, or nominated, actors, directors, producers bringing the Justice League together…. With Affleck playing Batman he has the juice to at a minimum pull together a script and lay a course for the long term future of the franchise. Lets be honest the guy is built like Batman, dresses like Bruce Wayne and quietly underplays his characters like a dark Ninja. Kevin Smith has written close to a hundred comics, graphic novels and screen plays for DC characters. Matt Damon has hollywood juice, action movie experience and writing skills second to none. Remember "Good Will Hunting"?

These three life long friends are true comic geeks and a collaboration to create a universe and JLA to battle heads up with JJ's Star Trek/Wars juggernaut and Marvels Joss Wheadon led phased Avengers GOTG invasion. I won't hold my breath but I will say my prayers.

Note: Purchase all available domains for Jay and Silent Bob's "Fatman and Bobbin" ASAP...

PS, "Dare Devil" was not Ben's fault. A panicked studio recut the movie and CGI'd the crap out of it after it was wrapped, closed and submitted for distribution.

Michael Rooker in GOTG

Well it looks like Merle Dixon has landed on his feet after getting his butt Walker-fied by the Governor. Darryl would be happy to see Merle up and about with a new hand and just a few side effects. The blue skin and permanent Mohawk still leave Merle recognizable.

Area 51 Officially exists according to the CIA

(ABC News) --  Area 51 in Nevada has long been the subject of wild conspiracy theories about extraterrestrials, time travel and alien autopsies, but newly released declassified documents from the CIA finally acknowledge its existence.

http://www.whas11.com/news/Area-51-revealed-in-CIA-spy-plane-documents-219912211.html

George Washington University's National Security Archive obtained a CIA history of the U-2 spy plane program through a Freedom of Information request and released it Thursday.

National Security Archive senior fellow Jeffrey Richelson reviewed the history in 2002, but all mentions of Area 51 had been redacted, according to The Associated Press.

Richelson says he requested the history again in 2005 and received a version a few weeks ago with mentions of Area 51 restored.

Will the conspiracy theories finally come to an end? Not likely, and after all, some parts of the report are still redacted.

Pacific Rim Rocks, Godzilla and Friends on Steroids

I have no idea what the early pressers were talking about but Pacific Rim is awesome.
This is no "War and Peace" folks, there is little to no character development, but this is not a movie about characters. Hence the ending. This is a completely new franchise not limited by toy sales, existing universe or beloved characters that cannot die. This is pure awesome in a film can.

This is a movie about gigantic monsters climbing up from the bottom of the ocean and stomping the major cities and population centers along the Pacific rim. Forget the laws of physics, military tactics or wormhole mechanics. This is a movie that has baby godzillas, space ticks, blue plasma acid blood, space EMPs, nuclear powered giant battle mechs and the latest in deep sea escape pod technology. This is 1950s Godzilla, 1960s Ultraman, 1970s Hulk and 1980s Robotech all rolled into one giant Burrito of clobbering time in the Octagon formerly known as Hong Kong. This is the ultimate homage to all things fanboy, anime, Kaiju,  and GI Joe cartoons.

GO SEE THIS MOVIE NOW IN A THEATER!!!! Pacific Rim is fully deserving of a watch while wrapped in the full glory of its IMAX HD CGI with a massive sub woofer.
